Student Financial Assistance
This financial assistance program has been set up in accordance with ISMER’s funding policy (program subject to change without notice).
Please note that CREPUQ exchange students are not eligible for this bursary program.
The Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski (ISMER) accords a bursary of $1,000 to all new students enrolled full time in their first session of an oceanography Master’s program.
Students must fill out a form to apply for the bursary. Forms will be handed out at the meeting for new students in early September.
Students enrolled in a Master’s program receive financial assistance from ISMER up to maximum of $1,000 per session for another four of the first eight sessions, provided that students’ research directors also contribute at least the same amount.
At the PhD level, students receive financial support from ISMER up to a maximum of $1,300 per session for nine of the first twelve sessions, provided that students’ research directors also contribute at least the same amount.
